Jante’ is promotes communication and community outreach at Cooperation L.A., and helps to build and support and build our growing networks or cooperatives and relationships. Raised in South Central, Los Angeles, Janté was introduced to community organizing while working towards her B.S. at the University of California, Berkeley, and after graduation, returned home to organize in her community around jobs, economic development, and climate policy within the city of Los Angeles and at the state level. Jante’ is passionate about visioning and creating new economic systems that enrich, not exploit workers, and that center care and collaboration within communities.
